This holiday season, Poverty Knob Farmhouse Ales is turning heads in the Erie, PA area with its dazzling Tinsel Taproom Pop-Up, an immersive Christmas wonderland that brings festive cheer to every corner of the brewery. Located on the scenic grounds of Port Farms, this unique Christmas Pop-Up promises a magical experience for the whole family.

A Brewery Transformed Into a Holiday Wonderland

Step inside and prepare to be amazed by the brewery’s incredible transformation:

  • 11,575 twinkling lights stretching over 2,089 feet
  • 750 sq. ft. of festive wrapping paper
  • Santa and sleigh installation
  • 1,750 sparkling Christmas ornaments
  • 4,488 feet of shimmering tinsel

From walls wrapped like gifts to glowing trees, a cozy fireplace scene, and Santa himself hanging from the ceiling, the Tinsel Taproom Pop-Up offers endless photo-worthy moments for visitors. Every corner of the brewery bursts with holiday spirit, making it a must-visit destination for anyone in Erie, PA and surrounding areas.

“With our Christmas tree farm already being a festive wonderland this time of year, we wanted to bring that same magic into our brewery — and make it bigger than anything you’ve seen before,” says Casey Dusicsko, COO. “We’ve seen the popularity of Christmas pop-up bars in cities, and we thought — why not have one right here in Waterford? It’s festive, it’s fun, and it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season close to home.”

Festive Drinks, Delicious Food, and Family Fun

Guests can enjoy seasonal brews, festive cocktails, and holiday mocktails, along with a full menu of food in the midst of the twinkling decor. The pop-up is family-friendly, dog-friendly, and open to all ages, ensuring everyone can join in on the festive fun.

Located just 13 miles south of I-90, Poverty Knob Farmhouse Ales sits on the beloved Port Farms, home to the Waterford Christmas Tree Farm and the annual Country Christmas celebration. Visitors can combine a trip to the brewery with a visit to the farm for the ultimate holiday outing.
